It is important to keep your garden pest-free, and you can do it in an eco-friendly way. Here are some tips for keeping pests away from your garden without using harmful chemicals.

First, start by planting native plants. Native plants are more resilient to pest attacks as they are adapted to the local environment. This will reduce the need for intervention from you. Additionally, you can attract beneficial insects to your garden by planting flowers such as asters, daisies and cosmos.

Second, create a barrier between your garden and the pests. This could be done by building a fence or by using an insect-proof netting.

Third, use natural pest repellents. You can mix up a mixture of garlic, chili powder and water to spray onto your plants and keep the pests away.

Fourth, use companion planting. This is the practice of planting certain plants together which will help to repel pests. For example, you can plant marigolds and garlic together to repel pests such as aphids and beetles.

Finally, encourage beneficial predators. You can do this by providing them with nesting sites and food. This will help to keep the pest population in check.
